Red Magnificence ReBLOOM® Azalea

The Red Magnificence™ ReBLOOM™ Azalea has gorgeous semi-double bright red blooms, that smother the bush not only in spring, but begin again in summer and put on a second magnificent display in late summer and fall. The evergreen bush grows up to 3 feet tall and 4 feet across, making a fabulous plant that looks great around your home, in garden beds, beneath trees, or in a woodland setting. It also thrives for years in planter boxes and pots, which is especially useful if you don’t have the soil conditions it needs.

The Red Magnificence™ ReBLOOM™ Azalea is completely hardy even in zone 6, where it can be grown in full sun. In warmer zones it should have afternoon shade, and it blooms well even in light full shade beneath deciduous trees or on the north-facing side of a wall. The soil should be acidic, with a pH less than 6.5 and preferably lower, and the soil should be rich, moist and well-drained. In containers, use potting soil and fertilizer blended for acid-loving plants. This plant is usually pest and disease free. Deer and rabbits usually leave it alone.
