Scarlet Prince Peach

Scarletprince is a modern variety of peach that is renowned for its beautiful red skin and pink-tinted yellow flesh. It is a delicious and firm peach with a melt-in-the-mouth texture and flesh that just slips from the stone with nothing wasted. Each summer just one tree of the Scarletprince Peach will be heavy with bushels of these large and delicious peaches. The fruit ripens in July and August depending on where it is grown. It lasts well on the tree and does not quickly become soft and over-ripe. The tree is easy to grow in a sheltered, sunny location and it will grow in any well-drained soil from zone 5 all the way to the edge of zone 9. You only need one tree to have an excellent harvest, as Scarletprince is self-pollinating.
