Sunny Knock Out® Rose - Tree Form

The Sunny Knockout® Rose Tree is a unique specimen plant that places a golden yellow ever-blooming rose onto a sturdy trunk to make a fabulous tree that is 5 to 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide. The ever-changing flowers go from rich golden-yellow in bud and when first open to delicious cream as they mature. Flowering is continuous from early summer all the way into fall, and this great plant makes the perfect specimen in a bed, or a bright greeting beside a doorway. Use it anywhere as an accent among other shrubs or paired at a gate.

The Sunny Knockout® Rose Tree should be planted in full sun, in rich, well-drained soils, including heavy clays. Adding organic material to the soil, and as mulch, along with a fertilizer program, will give you the very best results. This disease is resistant to all three major rose diseases – black spot, mildew and rust. Pests are rarely an issue because of its vigorous healthy growth. Just a simple spring pruning is all it needs, and winter protection in zones 5 and 6.
