The Double Play Doozie® Spirea is a breakthrough in Japanese spirea that blooms continuously from May to October with 8-inch heads of purple-red flowers. It is a compact deciduous shrub with a dense, dome-like form, and the new spring leaves are bright red, orange and yellow before turning green for the summer. Fall colors of gold, yellow and purple-red end the season. This very cold-resistant plant is ideal for specimens in small beds, planting in drifts or edging larger beds. Put it in planters too, for all the color you need.
