The Bushel & Berry® Peach Sorbet Blueberry Bush is an evergreen shrub developed to make blueberry growing easy in hotter zones. It bears well even in areas with mild winters, and it is also a great ornamental bush. Its new leaves change from peachy-yellow to pink and then orange-red, and then turn again in fall to deep purple for the winter. The pink and white blossoms are beautiful, and it carries a bumper crop of large, tasty berries, even though the plant itself is just 2 feet tall and wide. It is perfect for both garden and container growing.
Plant your Bushel & Berry® Peach Sorbet Blueberry Bushes in full sun for the biggest crop. It should be grown in rich, moist, acidic soil, with a pH value of 5.5 or less. If you don’t have suitable soil it grows well in planters or pots, in soil blended for other acid-loving plants like azaleas. It needs less than 500 hours of colder nights in winter, so it grows and bears well even in zone 9. Pests and diseases are normally not a problem, and this plant is easy to grow in the right soil.
