The Edithās Darlingā¢ Miniature Rose Tree is a beautiful rounded bush with dark-green glossy foliage, growing on a short, sturdy trunk. From early-summer into fall it is smothered in beautiful blossoms, almost 3 inches across, with fully-double blooms of 60 petals or more. They are a unique and glorious glowing shade of apricot-gold, with a darker heart and lighter outer petals. Carried singly or in groups they last days, and are replaced as rapidly as they fade. Grow it as a specimen in shrub beds, to frame an entrance, or in planters, with flowers planted below.
Full sun will give you the best results with the Edithās Darlingā¢ Miniature Rose Tree. Grow it in well-drained soil, including clay soils, enriched with compost or well-rotted manures. For planters add 25% garden soil to potting soil for outdoor pots. This variety has good resistance to major diseases and doesnāt need spraying with nasty chemicals. Remove the blooms as they fade and trim back the stems by up to one-half in spring, just as new growth is beginning.
