Pink Icicle Camellia

The Pink Icicle Camellia is a beautiful upright evergreen shrub, reaching 6 to 10 feet, and being 4 to 6 feet wide. In early to mid-spring it is produces a profusion of large shell-pink flowers, with a lovely informal bowl shape, surrounding a center of yellow stamens. This variety has been especially bred for colder regions, and it grows perfectly in zone 7, and in zone 6 too, in sheltered spots. Grow this beautiful shrub in beds with other flowering shrubs, as an informal screen, or among woodland plants. It thrives in pots and planters if you don’t have the acid soil camellias need.
