Bushel and Berry® Jelly Bean Blueberry

The Bushel & Berry® Jelly Bean Blueberry Bush is a novel dwarf variety that produces a big crop of large, tasty berries on a compact, very decorative bush. Growing just a foot or two tall, it has unusual elongated leaves that are dusky red when new and that turn beautiful shades of yellow, gold and red in fall. The clusters of snow-white flowers in spring are beautiful too, and this plant is ideal for edging, in the foreground of your flower beds, or for growing in planters and containers. It’s a top-choice variety for colder regions.

The Bushel & Berry® Jelly Bean Blueberry Bush gives its biggest crop in full sun, but it will tolerate a little shade too. It is very hardy, and it will grow in the ground in zone 3, and in planters in zone 4. The soil should be rich, moist, and acidic, with a pH value of 5.5 or less. Soil in planters should be blended for acid-loving plants. No pruning is needed, and pests or diseases are normally not an issue. This is an easy berry crop for new gardeners to grow.
