The classic Iceberg Rose might have been with us for 65 years, but it remains one of the very best garden roses there is. Blooming prolifically all summer and well into the fall, it’s loose, open but double flowers are produced in profusion, in clusters that hide the foliage, there are just so many blooms. Growing especially well in warmer zones, the gorgeous flowers are pure, snow-white, looking great in every garden, no matter what other colors you have. Like a mound of glistening snow or ice, this wonderful rose also has glossy deep-green foliage that stays healthy and fresh, with good resistance to diseases. To make it even more effective in your garden, our growers placed it on a sturdy trunk, creating an exciting rose tree that is perfect in beds, as an accent beside a door or steps, or in a large planter box, where it will brighten a porch, veranda or terrace with pure beauty.

  • Gorgeous pure, snow-white blossoms
  • Flowers profusely, from early summer right into the fall
  • Blossoms are medium-sized, double but with an open form, carried in large clusters
  • Fabulous accent in beds, by a door, or in a pot on a terrace
  • Clean foliage with good disease and heat resistance

The Iceberg Tree Rose should be planted in full sun for the best blooming. Grow it in a soil you have enriched with plenty of compost or other organic materials. Water regularly and don’t let your bush become dry in summer or it may stop flowering. For planters use a mix of 3 parts regular potting soil and 1 part garden soil. Remove dead flower clusters to encourage further blooms to develop. Good disease resistance. Prune in spring, cutting back to a neat framework of strong branches, and remove all thin, twiggy growth.
