As beautiful to see and smell as the dishes created by the celebrity chef that gives this rose its name, the Julia Child™ Tree Rose is a golden beauty, with a stunning fragrance of anise and honey. Each double rose is a full 3½ inches across, packed with petals, and a glowing golden buttery yellow. Perfect in form, and an All-American Rose selection, you will be blown away by the perfection and beauty of this bush, standing 5 feet high and 3 feet wide, and smothered in blooms continuously from early summer right into the fall. Grow it by the kitchen door for inspiration, by the front door as a golden welcome, or out in beds to simply enjoy. It is also a great choice for a large planter box, where it could be placed on a terrace or patio to enjoy its drop-dead beauty and fragrance. Truly a superb rose, this one belongs in every garden.

  • Large double flowers of perfect form and a golden yellow color
  • Abundant flowering throughout summer and well into fall
  • Fantastic fragrance of anise and honey – you won’t believe it
  • A medium-sized to large bush suitable for beds and large planters
  • Excellent resistance to powdery mildew, so ideal in humid climates

Plant the Julia Child™ Tree Rose in full sun for maximum flower production, and keep it moist during summer for continuous blooming. Grow it in moist, well-drained soil that has been enriched with plenty of organic materials. If planting in a container, blend 3 parts of potting soil with 1 part of garden soil. Feed potted trees regularly with liquid rose food for the best results, and use slow-release granular food for plants in the garden. This plant has excellent resistance to mildew, so leaves and flowers stay clean and fresh without spraying. Use our safe Neem Oil ready-to-use spray to control any insect pests. Prune in spring to leave a well-balanced base of sturdy branches for the best growth each year.
