The perfect gift for any plant lover ā€“ including yourself ā€“ the Potted Minerva Amaryllis Bulb is already planted and coming into growth. Itā€™s the quickest way to enjoy the fabulous flowers of this amazing winter-bloomer ā€“ we did the work, you just sit back and watch as the thick flower stems rise each day to almost 2 feet tall, each one producing 3 or 4 enormous blooms of glorious Christmas red. 7 inches across, each bloom has a star-shaped heart of white, with a green throat. Brightening your winter home with living, growing flowers, the traditional joy of Amaryllis at Christmas and into the New Year is well-known, but never fails to amaze each winter. We have potted the bulb for you, and started it into growth, so itā€™s already producing roots and pushing up stems. Nothing could be easier, or more enjoyable ā€“ Merry Christmas!

  • Huge red blooms on tall stems
  • Flowers indoors through the Holiday Season
  • Ready potted and already in growth
  • Place near a bright window indoors
  • Bulb can be kept and will bloom again

Place your Potted Minerva Amaryllis Bulb in a bright spot indoors, or in a heated porch. It should be in bright light, and although not necessary, some direct sun is beneficial. Water when the soil has become partly dry, and donā€™t leave it standing in water. Once blooming is over cut the flower stems down, but leave the foliage. If you fertilize and keep it growing through spring, you can then let it dry out completely, cut off the dead leaves and re-pot in late fall for it to bloom all over again. Generally free of any pest or disease problems, but donā€™t let pets nibble at it or eat the bulb.
